We had our Dr. Appointment on 8/25/09. Everything looks good. We had a sonogram first, and they were taking all kinds of measurements. After the sonogram, we saw the Nurse Practitioner, who went over everything. She told us that the baby is growing great, she is the proper size for how far along I am. The fluid levels are all where they should be, which means the baby's kidneys are functioning properly. We were glad to hear all of that good news. The results they received from the Echocardiogram came back with exactly what the Dr. had told us, he is unsure if there is a hole between the two bottom chambers. So overall, a good appointment which we were happy with.
Our next appointment is 9/15/09. Just an office visit, no sonogram. We also have an Echocardiogram scheduled for that day as well. We also scheduled an appointment with them for 9/21/09. At this appointment they explained that they will start monitoring the baby's movements and heart rate. I will have my sonogram, then be hooked up to the fetal monitor. They told us these appointments will be a bit longer then normal now that the baby will be monitored. We will then be going to Syracuse weekly for check-ups.

We are praying for you guys. Keep faithful, and just enjoy this special time carrying your little girl. Hopefully we will catch up with you soon.
ReplyDeleteVince and Patty told me about you and your new little girl on the way. I, too, had my little girl at Crouse Hospital, a month after Vince and Patty had Charlie. We are praying for you and your family, and remember to stay positive! You can always check out Kayla's blog at www.kolmstead.blogspot.com. If you don't mind me asking, why are they inducing you early?
